Job Description

The Admission & Outreach Manager plays a key role in driving student enrollments by planning, managing, and executing admission campaigns, outreach initiatives, and stakeholder engagement activities. The role focuses on increasing brand visibility, strengthening relationships with schools/colleges, counseling prospective students, and ensuring a smooth admission experience aligned with Chandigarh Universitys academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Admissions Management

  • Lead end-to-end student admission operations for assigned programs/regions.
  • Guide prospective students and parents about CU programs, eligibility, scholarships, and career outcomes.
  • Achieve admission targets through effective lead conversion strategies.
  • Monitor inquiry handling, follow-ups, CRM updates, and conversion funnel performance.
  • Conduct admission counseling sessions (online/offline) and support at admission centers or help desks.

2. Outreach & Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, coaching institutes, counselors, and educational partners.
  • Organize school/college visits, seminars, career counseling talks, workshops, and pre-admission meets.
  • Coordinate participation in education fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events.
  • Develop partnerships to enhance the university’s visibility across regions.

3. Marketing & Promotion

  • Contribute to planning and execution of regional marketing campaigns.
  • Promote university programs through digital platforms, social media engagement, and community outreach.
  • Provide market insights and competitor analysis to support strategic decisions.
  • Ensure brand consistency in all outreach materials and communication.

4. Data & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate reports on leads, outreach activities, conversions, and market performance.
  • Provide weekly/monthly updates to senior management.
  • Use data analytics to identify trends and improve admission and outreach strategies.

5. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise a team of admission counselors, field officers, or interns as assigned.
  • Collaborate closely with academic departments, marketing teams, and regional offices.
  • Train team members on counseling, communication, and customer-service best practices.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Management/Marketing/Education preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in admissions, student counseling, outreach, or education marketing.
  • Experience in university admissions or EdTech is must
