Customer Marketing Manager

Position Customer Marketing Lea

We need to stay connected with customer needs and market trends, establish market

positioning that is differentiated, clear, defensible and monetized, and partner with teams

across our organization to bring our positioning to life throughout the customer lifecycle

to better drive product expansion, adoption, and advocacy.

We are looking for a manager to lead the customer success team within our marketing

department. The Senior Manager (Customer Marketing) is a key member of the marketing

team and a critical partner to the global customer relationship management team. We

need this person to be the voice of our customers within Newgen. This person drives

customer success, satisfaction, and loyalty through the development and execution of

content and communications. You are an ideal candidate if you can move with ease from

strategy to detailed execution of effective multi-channel programs to engage, convert,

retain, and grow customers.

Job Responsibility

• Build a favorable image and perception in customers minds for the Newgen brand
• Strategize, plan, execute, and report on various customer success initiatives including

community, annual meet, satisfaction survey, testimonials, joint press releases, web

site updates, milestone celebrations, webinars, presentations, customer advisory

boards, and event co-participation

• Build, execute, and report on multi-channel customer engagement and retention

initiatives spanning account-based marketing, webinars, email, social, and advertising

• Partner with internal stakeholders, especially customer relationship managers and

regional heads, to develop and deliver customer-focused campaign and newsletter

content, ensuring all efforts work cohesively to achieve common goals

• Drive customer reference marketing projects including maintaining reference database

and partnering with customer-facing teams to grow reference database

• Manage Newgens Gold Customer program through regular tracking and reporting
• Focus on post-purchase marketing activities related to customer use and satisfaction
• Track the current adoption of Newgen products among the install base and advocate

for the full suite of Newgen platforms and applications

• Gain customer insights on specific product problems/opportunities via data-driven

customer journey touchpoints to validate logical paths forward

• Partner with product marketing, marcom, centers of excellence, and other marketing

teams to develop customer advocacy

• Leverage marketing tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn, and custom landing pages to

connect with current customers in a more efficient, relevant way

Desired Profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in customer marketing
• An MBA in marketing is a must
• Over 8 years of experience within a SaaS software/tech company is a must
• Strong understanding of banking, insurance, shared services, and/or government

customer focus and digital operations

• Experience building out all forms of content such as webinars, newsletters, email, web, social, etc.
• Self-starter, owner, and driver
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with strong presentation and

persuasion skills

• Strong customer-focused attitude; confident in dealing with multiple departments and

senior management within Newgen and within customer companies

• Strong analytical approach, leveraging data and insights to inform strategy and business

decisions
