About the Role: Join our Dashboard teams that are responsible for building and maintaining our Web applications, overseeing millions of network devices from our cloud platform. Our customers rely on the Meraki Dashboard to monitor and configure critical IT infrastructure serving tens of millions of people daily. As a Full Stack Technical Lead on the Dashboard team, you will collaborate with Product Managers and other engineers to design and construct a large-scale system delivering powerful, scalable, and innovative cloud-managed services to our customers. What you will work on: - Solve complex architecture challenges to develop scalable and adaptable systems. - Coordinate and align knowledge and perspectives among Product, SRE, and Dashboard developers. - Collaborate with fellow engineers to implement advanced Dashboard systems and infrastructure to address unique Meraki Dashboard issues. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks within our architecture. - Take complete ownership from inception to production release by leveraging your ability to influence, facilitate, and collaborate across teams. - Lead, mentor, and disseminate best practices to other team members. You are an ideal fit if you: - Have 10+ years of proven experience in writing professional production code and tests for large-scale systems. - Bring 7+ years of expertise in Backend and full-stack technologies (Ruby on Rails/Python/). - Can design efficient databases and optimize query performance in a relational database (Postgres, SQL). - Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership throughout the development process, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams. - Possess a strategic and product-oriented mindset with a curiosity to understand users. - Showcase exceptional communication skills. Bonus points for any of the following: - Experience in building cloud-based infrastructure and services (e.g., Web applications). - Background or interest in Security or Networking. - Familiarity with Container solutions (Kubernetes).
