Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function in our transformer and radiator manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment availability, minimizing downtime, implementing preventive maintenance, and supporting smooth and safe plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:Maintenance Planning & Execution:

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for all plant equipment including:
• Welding machines (MIG/TIG/Arc)
• Hydraulic presses and bending machines
• Radiator fin forming machines
• Overhead cranes and hoists
• Surface treatment, painting & drying systems
• Transformer oil filtration & testing setups
• Minimize machine downtime through quick fault diagnosis and repair.

Asset Management:

• Maintain an updated record of plant machinery, tools, spares inventory, and service history.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with the purchase team for timely procurement.

Team Leadership:

• Lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers across mechanical, electrical, and utility functions.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to maintenance SOPs.

Utilities & Infrastructure:

• Oversee maintenance of DG sets, compressors, ETP/STP, HVAC, electrical panels, and utility systems.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of power, water, compressed air, etc., for smooth operations.

Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety, machine safety, and relevant factory regulations.
• Prepare and maintain records for internal and external audits, including energy audits and statutory inspections.

Continuous Improvement:

• Implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Kaizen, and 5S initiatives in maintenance practices.
• Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs and improve equipment reliability.

Educational Qualification:

• B.E./Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Mechatronics Engineering

Experience:

• 5-8 years of hands-on maintenance experience in transformer or radiator manufacturing industry, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding systems, and sheet metal machinery.
• Familiar with electrical circuits, PLCs, and industrial automation basics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and factory compliance norms.
• Proficient in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or maintenance modules in ERP (SAP, Oracle).
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
