Job Description

Key responsibilities:

Staff and team management:
Train, supervise, and motivate maintenance staff.
Maintenance planning:
Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
Budget and cost control:
Manage the maintenance budget, track expenses, and analyze costs to optimize operational spending.
Facility upkeep:
Ensure the proper function and upkeep of buildings, machinery, grounds, and equipment.
Safety and compliance:
Implement and enforce safety policies and ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Emergency response:
Coordinate and respond to emergency maintenance situations to minimize disruption.
Vendor coordination:
Manage and coordinate work performed by outside vendors.
Inventory management:
Monitor and manage the inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
Continuous improvement:
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement in processes.
Collaboration:
Work with other departments to coordinate equipment upgrades and new installations.
