Maintenance Manager

Role Overview: As a Hospital Maintenance Manager, your primary responsibility will involve leading a maintenance team, developing preventive maintenance plans for various hospital systems, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. You will oversee repair and maintenance activities, coordinate with other hospital departments, and utilize data for continuous improvement to maintain facility reliability and safety for patient care. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, manage, and train a team of maintenance staff to ensure optimal performance and provide technical support. - Develop and implement long-term maintenance and repair strategies, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all hospital equipment and systems. - Oversee the maintenance budget, control costs, and ensure all activities are within budget constraints. - Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards for the hospital facility and maintenance activities. - Coordinate with other hospital departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to patient care. - Supervise repair and maintenance activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring availability of critical spare parts and tools. - Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Document and submit reports to senior management on budgets, progress, and schedules. - Identify and engage appropriate vendors for utility equipment and general repairs. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field. - Significant experience in facility maintenance or management, demonstrating leadership abilities. - Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. - Proficiency in maintenance management software and other relevant tools. - Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
