Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive & Scheduled Maintenance

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on Compressor, Welding Machines, Hydraulic Presses, Robots, Forging Hammers, Conveyor, SPM’s, Press and sheet metal Machinery to reduce downtime and extend equipment life

• Breakdown Repairs & Troubleshooting

Diagnose mechanical faults rapidly, perform on‑site repairs, and restore operations with minimal disruption.

• Tooling & Die Maintenance

Inspect, align, repair or replace dies and tooling. Coordinate maintenance of punches, dies, jigs, fixtures; maintain tooling inventory.

• Continuous Improvement

Analyze recurring failures, assert root causes (MTTR/MTBF). Drive improvements via TPM, Poka‑Yoke, 5S, Kaizen initiatives and energy optimization

• Documentation, Inventory Planning & Records

Maintain logs of machine performance, maintenance activities, breakdowns, spare parts usage, and OEE reports. Use CMMS to track work orders

• Safety & Compliance

Ensure machine operation adheres to occupational health and safety standards. Conduct safety audits and tool‑box talks; enforce protective gear usage.

• Cross‑Functional & Vendor Coordination

Collaborate with Production, Tool Room, and Quality teams. Coordinate maintenance/vendor support, spare parts procurement, and external machining services.

• Training & Leadership

Mentor operators and technicians in safe operation, basic maintenance tasks, and SOPs. Conduct induction and skill development session.

• Installation & Commissioning

Assist in commissioning new machinery. Align, calibrate, and verify operational readiness after installation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
