Maintenance Engineer

Their state-of-the-art manufacturing setup produces world-class products in various polymers such as Nitrile, Neoprene, Hypalon, EPDM, Butyl, Silicone, and Viton sheets.

Role Description

• Maintenance and Repair:

   Perform both scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Troubleshooting:

   Diagnose and solve equipment malfunctions to restore operational status

• Equipment Reliability and Improvement:

   Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring failures to identify underlying problems and implement solutions to improve equipment reliability and performance. Recommend and implement modifications or upgrades to machinery to enhance efficiency and extend asset life

• Installation and Commissioning:

   Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new calendering machinery or auxiliary equipment, ensuring proper setup and integration into existing production lines.

• Planning and Scheduling:

   Create and manage maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure the smooth operation of machinery.

• Team and Contractor Management:

   Supervise and train maintenance technicians and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.

• Documentation:

   Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment faults, and repair histories.

• Safety and Compliance:

   Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, such as OSHA guidelines, and contribute to a safe work environment.

• Inventory Management:

   Oversee the stock of necessary spare parts and maintenance supplies. 

Qualifications

Academic:

Work Experience

5+ years of proven experience as Maintenance engineer.

Knowledge & understanding of DFMEA, PPAP, APQP, & FMEA making.

Knowledge & understanding of Calendaring Machines, Rotocuring Machines, Kneaders/Mixers, Fabrication and assembly lines, Casting / Electrical Instruments.

Communication Skills. Good team player
