Product Development Engineer (Mechanical)

As a Product Development Engineer (Mechanical) at Unirub Techno India Pvt. Ltd, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - New product development including CAD modeling and drawing generation. - Providing support for design changes in existing products. - Reviewing customer enquiries, contributing to feasibility studies, and preparing concept designs. - Coordinating with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and strategic low-cost sourcing activities are fully supported. - Providing suggestions for design modifications and improvements. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proficiency in Design, CATIA/CAD/CAM, CAD modeling, Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T). - Experience in propeller fan design modifications. - Academic background of a Bachelors degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - At least 5 years of proven experience as a Product Development Engineer. - Knowledge and understanding of DFMEA, PPAP, APQP, and FMEA processes. - Familiarity with Propeller Fan, Fabrication, Casting, and Electrical Instruments. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
