Job Title: Maintenance Engineer / Line Maintenance Engineer Department: Maintenance / Engineering Location: [Insert Location] Job Type: [Full-time / Onsite] Reports To: Maintenance Manager / Plant Head / Engineering Manager Job Summary: The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of production lines. This includes resolving chronic equipment issues, planning spare parts, conducting preventive maintenance, ensuring safety compliance, performing detailed breakdown analysis, and supporting new project implementations. Key Responsibilities:1. Line Maintenance & Reliability Ensure the continuous and efficient running of production lines with minimal downtime. Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting to maintain operational efficiency. 2. Chronic Issue Resolution Identify, analyze, and permanently resolve chronic and recurring technical issues on machines and equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement long-term solutions. 3. Spare Parts Planning & Inventory Management Plan, manage, and maintain the spare parts inventory for critical equipment. Ensure the availability of necessary spares to avoid production downtime. 4. Preventive Maintenance (PM) Activities Plan and execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities to enhance equipment reliability and lifespan. Document PM schedules and ensure compliance with maintenance standards. 5. Breakdown Analysis Conduct in-depth root cause analysis (RCA) for breakdowns and failures. Implement corrective and preventive measures to minimize future occurrences. 6. Safety Compliance Adhere to and enforce all safety regulations and standards within the maintenance operations. Participate in safety audits and ensure that all equipment and processes comply with safety requirements. 7. New Project Implementation Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines. Participate in project planning, equipment validation, and smooth handover to operations. Work with vendors and contractors for successful project execution. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field. 3–7 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in manufacturing/production environments. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or automation systems related to production lines. Proficiency in breakdown analysis, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with spare parts management and maintenance software/tools (e.g., SAP, CMMS). Good understanding of industrial safety practices and compliance. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure. Work Model: Onsite
