Position Purpose:

To manage and support production applications under a predefined scope, ensuring stability, continuity, and performance of business-critical systems. This includes managing Incidents, Requests, and Changes in collaboration with Rome IT and BNL BNP Paribas teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Responsibilities:

  • Manage

    Incidents, Requests, and Changes

    for assigned applications.
  • Ensure

    SLA adherence

    for all production support activities.
  • Coordinate with Italian counterparts for

    handover of tasks

    where needed.
  • Work closely with

    BNL BNP Paribas teams

    : Incident Coordination, Security, Infrastructure, and Development.
  • Provide

    rotational support including night shifts

    and be part of on-call support when required.

Contributing Responsibilities:

  • Participate in

    knowledge transfer and documentation

    with BNL Application Production teams.
  • Define and improve internal

    procedures, SOPs, and team processes

    .
  • Contribute to

    problem management, KPI reporting, and incident root cause analysis

    .
  • Help in

    continuous improvement initiatives

    , onboarding of new applications, and skill-building.

  • Scheduler IWS / TWS Administration

  • JCL

    Syntax, Debugging, and Troubleshooting
  • DB2 Utilities

    VSAM Utilities

  • Microfocus Changeman

  • CFT (File Transfers)

    ISPF/S

    ,

    TSO

Additional Systems:

  • Linux / Open Systems (basic knowledge)

  • ServiceNow ticketing system

    (preferred)
  • General IT Infrastructure and Backup/Disaster Recovery Concepts

Behavioral & Domain Skills:

  • Good understanding of

    ITIL processes

    (Incident, Change, Problem Mgmt.)
  • Excellent communication & coordination skills both verbal and written
  • Adaptability to

    multicultural team environments

  • Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and

    team collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT

  • ITIL Foundation certification

    (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of Italian language

    will be an advantage
