Job Description

Location - Goregaon , Mumbai Key Responsibilities Accounting & Control Functions Prepare and book daily/monthly entries (e.g., accruals, MTM bookings). Enforce internal controls and ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations. Reconcile source systems with general ledger; identify and resolve discrepancies. Review daily account activity and ledgers for errors and anomalies. Perform variance analysis on revenue and balance sheet items; investigate issues and trends. Prepare detailed month-end substantiation packages for multiple legal entities. Manage ad-hoc requests (e.g., profit center creation) and intra-day support tasks. Support audits (external, regulatory, internal) and respond to data requests. Maintain and review financial mapping tables. Contributing Responsibilities Support system upgrades and new release testing for reporting tools. Participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency and control. Assist in streamlining and standardizing reporting across entities. Technical & Behavioral Competencies Working knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP . Exposure to corporate banking products is an advantage. Strong understanding of general ledger and financial reporting structures. Ability to manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts). Familiarity with other MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
