Job Title: Application Production Support Mainframe Experience: 3 to 8 Years Location: Chennai - Hybrid Employment Type: Full Time Shift: Rotational Shift (including Night Shifts) Language Requirement: Basic Italian (advantageous, not mandatory) Interview process : L1 Technical Discussion - Virtual (Teams) L2 Technical with managerial Discussion - Face2Face Position Purpose: To manage and support production applications under a predefined scope, ensuring stability, continuity, and performance of business-critical systems. This includes managing Incidents, Requests, and Changes in collaboration with Rome IT and BNL BNP Paribas teams. Key Responsibilities: Direct Responsibilities: Manage Incidents, Requests, and Changes for assigned applications. Ensure SLA adherence for all production support activities. Coordinate with Italian counterparts for handover of tasks where needed. Work closely with BNL BNP Paribas teams : Incident Coordination, Security, Infrastructure, and Development. Provide rotational support including night shifts and be part of on-call support when required. Contributing Responsibilities: Participate in knowledge transfer and documentation with BNL Application Production teams. Define and improve internal procedures, SOPs, and team processes . Contribute to problem management, KPI reporting, and incident root cause analysis . Help in continuous improvement initiatives , onboarding of new applications, and skill-building. Technical & Behavioral Competencies: Mainframe & Job Control Tools: Scheduler IWS / TWS Administration JCL Syntax, Debugging, and Troubleshooting DB2 Utilities , VSAM Utilities Microfocus Changeman CFT (File Transfers) , ISPF/S , TSO Additional Systems: Linux / Open Systems (basic knowledge) ServiceNow ticketing system (preferred) General IT Infrastructure and Backup/Disaster Recovery Concepts Behavioral & Domain Skills: Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Mgmt.) Title : Senior support analyst Experience : 5 to 7 years only Notice period : Immediate to short joiners (Serving np) *Note : Profiles will be shortlisted for further interview process based on the above criteria. Position Purpose The Application Production main responsibility is to provide applications production support services. A team is setup in India to be closer to the Italian Application Production Team and BNL Application development teams with which we are working. Leveraging BNL BNP Paribas Paris teams expertise and ISPL IT skills, the goal is to enable applications flawless production by providing secure and stable environments and by ensuring that all actions on production environments are done in a controlled manner. The Application Production Support will be a part of IT Application Production Team and will be primarily responsible for the following work activities: • Application Incident Management • Application Request Fulfilment • Application Change implementation The teams scope will be expanded in the future beyond the first set of described activities. The team is also expected to work closely with their BNL BNP Paribas colleagues to integrate new technologies, especially related to the new generation BNP Paribas Cloud and DevOps methods & toolchains. Direct Responsibilities • For a predefined applications scope take care of: Incidents Requests Changes • Ensure that SLA targets are met for above activities • Handover to Italian teams if knowledge and skills are not available in ISPL • Coordinate closely with Rome IT Application Production Teams s and also all other BNL BNP Paribas IT teams (Incident coordination, Security, Infrastructure, Development teams, etc.) Contributing Responsibilities • Contribute to the knowledge transfer with BNL Application Production team • Contribute to the definition of procedures and processes necessary for the team • Contribute to incidents analysis and associated problem management • Contribute to the regular activity reporting and KPI calculation • Contribute to continuous improvement actions, especially the lessons learned from handovers to Paris • Contribute to the acquisition by ISPL team of new skills & knowledge to expand its scope Technical & Behavioral Competencies For the reinforcement of our team, we are looking for an Application Production Supports with these skills: 1.
