This role involves managing and optimizing Linux-based server environments, automating routine tasks, and collaborating with development teams to streamline deployment processes. Job Profile: Linux Server Administrator Positions: 01 Job location: Mohali, Work from office. Job Types: Regular/Permanent, Full-time. Key Responsibilities System Administration : Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL). Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and security updates. Automation & Scripting : Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash or Python to enhance operational efficiency. Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Monitor system performance, conduct troubleshooting, and resolve issues swiftly to minimize downtime. Collaboration : Work closely with development and operations teams to design and deploy scalable and reliable solutions. Security & Compliance : Implement and maintain security best practices to protect infrastructure and data. Documentation : Document system configurations, changes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance Required Qualifications Minimum of 6 months - 1+ year in Linux system administration. Proficiency in Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL). CPanel/WHM/Plesk/Open Source CP. Email Server: Migration, Setup Experience with shell scripting (Bash, Python). Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub, Bitbucket). Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
