Job Summary- We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to manage and maintain our server infrastructure while leading a team of system administrators. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, and performance of servers, conducting routine health checks, handling incidents, and efficiently managing team operations. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and 24/7 availability for critical issues. Key Responsibilities- Administer, monitor, and maintain Linux-based servers (production, staging, and development environments). Perform routine server health checks, system audits, performance monitoring, and capacity planning. Ensure high availability, uptime, and reliability of servers and services. Troubleshoot and resolve server, OS, network, and application-level issues. Handle incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive actions. Implement and manage security patches, updates, and system hardening. Maintain backups, disaster recovery plans, and restoration procedures. Document system configurations, procedures, SOPs, and troubleshooting steps. Coordinate with internal teams (DevOps, Networking, Security, Development) for smooth operations. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of system administrators, including task allocation, reviews, and performance tracking. Ensure adherence to operational best practices and compliance standards. Remain available 24/7 online for communication and respond promptly in case of critical incidents or emergencies. Proactively monitor alerts and take corrective actions to prevent outages.
