Position: Linux Systems Engineer This position begins with a two-month unpaid probationary period that includes structured training and real-time exposure to live environments. Based on your performance, communication, and discipline during this phase, you will be offered a permanent position with a competitive salary. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Linux servers, including OS/software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Handle web, mail, DNS, and database servers with accuracy and accountability. Take full ownership of assigned tasks and follow through without reminders. Support and guide junior technicians when required, maintaining team coordination. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams, ensuring clarity and professionalism. Maintain activity logs, documentation, and proper escalation procedures. Be proactive in identifying and resolving issues rather than waiting for direction. Requirements: Strong communication skills - Spoken and written English is essential. Linux-related certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, or equivalent) are preferred. Practical understanding of Linux systems and server management fundamentals. Professional attitude, punctuality, and willingness to take responsibility. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Openness to rotational shifts and occasional availability for urgent escalations. Commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
