Job Description

To manage all external liaisoning activities related to coal procurement & compliance, factory/industrial statutory approvals, and land acquisition processes by maintaining strong coordination with government departments, regulatory bodies, and local administration to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coal Liaisoning

  • Coordinate with Coal India, SCCL, state mining departments, railways, and district mining offices.
  • Manage approvals for coal linkages, supply agreements, dispatch plans, rake allocations, transport permits, and royalty payments.
  • Resolve issues related to coal logistics, delivery, weighbridge, and compliance inspections.
  • Track government policy updates in the coal and mining sector.

2. Factory / Industrial Liaisoning

  • Secure statutory approvals such as CTE/CTO (Pollution), Factory License, Fire NOC, Electrical Safety, Boiler Inspector approvals, and other industrial permits.
  • Coordinate with DISCOMs, PCB, Labour Department, DM/Collector Offices, and local authorities.
  • Facilitate submission of compliance reports, renewals, and statutory documentation.
  • Support plant operations during inspections, audits, safety reviews, and regulatory meetings.

3. Land Acquisition & Revenue Liaisoning

  • Identify and acquire land parcels for expansion, mining, or industrial use.
  • Liaise with Tehsildars, SDMs, Revenue Department, Town Planning, Panchayats, and district authorities.
  • Manage all land-related documentation: title verification, conversion (NA), mutation, 7/12, EC, registration, ROW permissions, etc.
  • Build relationships with local communities, landowners, and key government stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with land laws, acquisition norms, and company legal guidelines.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong networking & relationship management with government and local authorities.
  • Good understanding of coal regulatory norms, industrial compliance, and land laws.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to handle inspections, audits, and conflict resolution effectively.
  • Knowledge of documentation, statutory procedures, and regulatory timelines.

Qualifications

  • Graduate / Postgraduate – Any discipline (MBA/Engineering/Law preferred).
  • 8–20+ years of relevant liaisoning experience in coal, factory/industrial operations, or land acquisition.
  • Experience in mining, power, manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
