Assistant Accountant / Junior Accountant

As an Assistant Accountant in our Accounts Department, you will play a crucial role in daily accounting operations, record keeping, and statutory compliance. Your responsibilities will include: - Recording day-to-day financial transactions in Tally/ERP. - Maintaining purchase, sales, cash, bank, and journal entries. - Preparing and verifying vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents. - Following up on receivables and maintaining customer ledger accuracy. - Performing bank reconciliation statements (BRS) monthly. - Updating and reconciling ledgers, and maintaining accounting schedules. - Assisting in GST return preparation (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS working. - Supporting in ensuring accounts are compliant with statutory requirements. - Maintaining all accounting files and records in proper order. - Preparing basic MIS reports as required. - Supporting senior accountants during audits. - Coordinating with internal departments for bills, approvals, and clarifications. - Ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks with accuracy. - Supporting overall finance and accounts operations as directed by seniors. Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - B.Com/M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance. - 1-3 years of relevant work experience (Fresher with good knowledge can be considered). - Strong working knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel. - Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles. - Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
