Legal Manager

Job Title: Legal Manager Company: PowerWind Location: Gurgaon Salary: ₹4,00,000 – ₹7,00,000 per annum Job Summary: PowerWind Limited is seeking an experienced and qualified Legal Manager with a CS qualification to oversee corporate, cyber, and regulatory legal functions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in legal advisory, compliance management, and government liaison, along with a solid academic background including LL.M. from a reputed university and Company Secretary (CS) qualification. Key Responsibilities: Handle legal matters related to corporate law, cyber law, contracts, and compliance . Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, MoUs, and NDAs. Coordinate with government departments, law enforcement agencies, and regulators on legal matters. Perform Company Secretarial duties : ROC filings, Board meetings, statutory registers, and compliance with the Companies Act. Ensure timely compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Represent the company in legal proceedings and manage external legal counsel. Monitor and interpret changes in laws, and ensure their implementation within the company. Maintain all legal records and manage digital legal documentation securely. Handle matters related to intellectual property, data privacy, and cyber risk mitigation . Qualifications & Experience: LL.M. (Master of Laws) from a reputed university. Qualified Company Secretary (CS) with membership of ICSI. 5–8 years of post-qualification experience in legal and secretarial roles. Sound knowledge of corporate law, IT/cyber law, and regulatory compliance . Experience in dealing with government authorities, tribunals, and courts . Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills. Preferred Background: Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors . Familiarity with SEBI, FEMA, and FDI compliance .
