• Draft and negotiate the contracts (in particular purchasing contracts), agreements, and legal documents to protect the organization's interests in India and support the development of centralized purchasing in India.
• Prepare contractual claims and answer claims received in relation with contracts and agreements
• Maintain a comprehensive record of all contracts, including their renewal timelines, and ensure timely follow-up and execution of renewal processes.
• Keeping records of all legal files, ensuring accurate documentation in both physical and digital formats for easy access and retrieval.
• Ensure timely updates on amendments in laws, regulations, and compliance requirements affecting the organization.
• Assist in due diligence and other corporate activities.
• Vendor/ supplier validation as per organization's policies and procedures
• Provide support in compliance audits and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Maintain the archives.
. Handle correspondence, collate information, write reports and communicate decisions to relevant company stakeholders.
. Act as a point of contact for communication with regulators and external stakeholders.
