Job Description

For our client, a top European Aerospace company, we invite applications for the Senior Manager Procurement role, based out of their office in New Delhi.


Procurement Senior Manager and Team Leader, plays a pivotal role in driving excellence

within our supply chain operations. Leading a dynamic team, primary focus will be on delivering

of Parts and Assemblies on time, on Quality to the plants in Europe and India, as well as

developing and enhancing the efficiency, resilience, and strategic capabilities of our supply

chain.

Main mission is to elevate the global performance of suppliers, implement robust root cause

analysis (RCA), and orchestrate action plans to drive improvements, ramp-up, recovery and

overall supplier maturity.


Principal duties and responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a high-performing team dedicated to supply chain development,

fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

• Lead systematic development of the supply base to address program challenges and

strategic sourcing priorities.

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the delivery, quality, efficiency,

effectiveness, and resilience of the end-to-end supply chain processes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain development efforts with

organizational goals and priorities.

• Spearhead transformative changes at suppliers to achieve significant performance

improvements, elevating supplier maturity to meet and exceed Quality and On-Time

Delivery (OTD) targets.

• Cultivate and manage global relationships with suppliers, emphasizing industrial

capability and performance in line with aerospace standards.

• Proactively identify risks and iimplement mitigation plans to ensure the smooth

operation of the supply chain.

• Identify and implementation of training programs to enhance the skill set and

knowledge base of the team members and Supply partners.


Qualifications and experience

Minimum of 18 years of vendor/supplier management experience, with at least 10 years in

relevant Supply Chain roles, preferably within the Aerospace Industry:

• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team

towards common goals

• Autonomy, self-motivation, and strong leadership to drive programs effectively

• Global-minded, assertive, and results-oriented leader with strong negotiation skills

• Demonstrated analytical and project management skills


Additional competences

• Master Degree in Supply chain management

• CPIM or similar certification

• Experience in Lean/Six Sigma principles
