Legal Executive

Role Overview: You will be responsible for contract management, legal compliance, dispute resolution, legal advisory, compliance management, due diligence, legal documentation, and liaison with external parties in the construction industry. Key Responsibilities: - Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for construction projects, including client agreements, subcontractor agreements, and vendor contracts. - Ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to construction, including building codes, safety regulations, and environmental laws. - Handling disputes and litigation related to construction projects, providing legal advice, and representing the company in court or arbitration. - Offering legal guidance on various construction-related matters, such as property acquisitions, construction financing, and project approvals. - Developing and implementing compliance programs to minimize legal risks and ensure adherence to industry standards. - Conducting due diligence on property acquisitions, ensuring the legal soundness of transactions, and managing related documentation. - Preparing and managing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other essential documents. - Collaborating with external stakeholders, such as lawyers, consultants, and regulators, to ensure compliance and resolve legal issues. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in contract management and legal compliance within the construction industry. - Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to construction. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to work effectively with external parties and stakeholders. - Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal qualification is preferred.
