Legal Counsel

As a key lawyer for the South Asia Cluster, your role will involve providing legal advice, leading drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts, and offering practical, business-oriented strategic advice for all product value streams. You will also be responsible for leading all legal initiatives for Care Delivery International in the countries in scope. Your strategic thinking and effective legal partnership will contribute to delivering FME's objectives. Managing disputes, litigious matters, and regulatory investigations will be part of your responsibilities, along with supporting corporate governance and M&A activities. Additionally, you will provide legal support on data privacy matters, proactive legal advice, and assist in problem resolution within the respective countries. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a key lawyer for the South Asia Cluster, providing legal advice and leading contract negotiations - Offer strategic advice for product value streams and legal initiatives for Care Delivery International - Manage disputes, litigious matters, and regulatory investigations - Support corporate governance, M&A activities, and data privacy matters - Provide proactive legal advice and assist in problem resolution - Prepare and implement policies, procedures, and control mechanisms for guidance and training - Identify opportunities for consistency and uniformity in legal work Qualifications Required: - At least 10 years post-qualification experience, preferably in leading law firms or MNCs in India - Experience in healthcare or similar industries will be highly regarded - Strong contract negotiation and communication skills - Commercially minded with a solutions-driven approach - Ability to work effectively in a global matrix organization - Strong collaboration skills, business-minded, and agile - Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities - Attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture Please note that the above description is focused on the role's responsibilities and qualifications.,
