About the Role

The L&OD Consultant plays a key role in developing the capability and performance of our people. You will design and deliver high-quality learning programmes, lead induction training, and provide targeted coaching that drives measurable improvements across the business. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about shaping talent, enhancing performance, and contributing to a strong learning culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver induction, post-induction, and refresher training for recruitment and support teams.
  • Design and update engaging learning content across classroom, virtual, and eLearning formats.
  • Provide 1:1 and group coaching to improve sales capability, client engagement, and behavioural performance.
  • Use call observations, recordings, and performance data to offer clear, actionable feedback.
  • Support managers to embed learning outcomes into day-to-day performance.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and produce clear reports demonstrating impact and ROI.
  • Maintain accurate training records, conduct skills audits, and follow up on development plans.
  • Work collaboratively with managers and stakeholders to address emerging learning needs.
  • Contribute to wider L&D initiatives and adopt innovative tools and approaches.

Experience & Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience in Learning & Development or Sales Training (ideally within recruitment or commercial sales).
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver both classroom and digital learning.
  • Confident using performance metrics to drive improvement.

Desirable

  • CIPD Level 3 or above.
  • Knowledge of instructional design and digital learning tools (e.g., Articulate 360).
  • Understanding of recruitment workflows and performance indicators.
