About Burma Burma:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training & Development:

  • Conduct structured training sessions for new hires, including induction, orientation, and role-specific training.
  • Develop and deliver ongoing training programs for existing staff, including soft skills, operational procedures, and customer service enhancement.
  • Support the roll-out of brand-standard training modules across multiple locations.

2. Content Creation & Documentation:

  • Assist in the creation and periodic review of training materials, including presentations, manuals, and handbooks, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, employee attendance, and evaluation results.

3. Performance Assessment:

  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and on-the-job observations.
  • Identify skill gaps and propose solutions to address developmental needs.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with department heads and managers to identify training requirements for their teams.
  • Coordinate with HR to schedule and execute training programs.

5. Employee Engagement & Motivation:

  • Foster a learning culture by organizing workshops, competitions, and team-building activities.
  • Act as a mentor for employees seeking career development within the organization.

6. Compliance & Standards:

  • Ensure all training adheres to legal, safety, and organizational standards.
  • Support audits by maintaining compliance with training records and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, HR, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in training roles within the hospitality/F&B industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in conducting training for premium F&B brands.
  • Familiarity with Burmese cuisine or willingness to learn about it.
  • Passion for mentoring and employee development.
