Role Overview:


As a Leader – Business Development, you will be responsible for driving student enrolment and corporate training sales, onboarding expert trainers, and ensuring efficient operations coordination for program delivery. You must have a proven track record of managing training programs for 350+ learners, leading corporate collaborations, and building trainer-led learning ecosystems focused on skilling and upskilling.


This role demands a strategic thinker and execution champion who can drive revenue while ensuring delivery excellence in collaboration with operations, marketing, and academic teams.


Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Business Development (Sales – B2C & B2B)

  • Acquire individual learners from colleges, universities, and the working professional segment.
  • Pitch and close corporate training deals for employee skilling and leadership development.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline across B2C and B2B segments to meet revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing for campaign planning, lead conversion, and outreach strategy.

🔹 Trainer Onboarding & Delivery Ecosystem

  • Source, assess, and onboard qualified trainers in Digital Marketing, IT/ITES, Technical, and UI/UX.
  • Build a scalable trainer network aligned with the company’s delivery and pedagogy standards.
  • Ensure trainer engagement, quality, and retention to maintain delivery consistency.

🔹 Operations & Program Coordination

  • Work with the operations team to schedule sessions, assign trainers, and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Oversee learner and client satisfaction by managing feedback and quality assurance processes.
  • Proactively identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks or trainer-related issues.

🔹 Strategy, Planning & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct market research to understand skill trends and competitor offerings.
  • Provide feedback to the content and product teams for curriculum refinement and new course design.
  • Recommend business expansion strategies based on demand and learner insights.


Key Requirements:

  • 10-14 years of experience in training business development, EdTech, corporate L&D sales, or skilling ecosystem roles.
  • Proven experience in handling training programs with 350+ learners and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong exposure to corporate upskilling partnerships and enterprise sales.
  • Ability to build, manage, and scale a trainer ecosystem across diverse domains.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, reporting dashboards, and sales/ops coordination.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/master’s degree in business, Marketing, HR, Education, or relevant discipline.
  • Prior experience in EdTech, skilling startups, training companies, or corporate L&D verticals.
  • Familiarity with hybrid training delivery, LMS platforms, and outcome-driven programs.
