We are part of OpenText Cybersecurity Enterprise division specializing in Threat Detection and Response Domain. Our product helps security operations teams to efficiently and effectively preempt and respond to threats that matter with proactive threat hunting, real-time threat detection, and response automation.
As a Lead QA you will utilize your superior knowledge and experience for testing Applications. As a key contributor to the agile team, you will ensure high quality in test efforts that require multiple test resources and coordination with development teams. You will also be involved in cross-team planning activities such as providing status updates and coordinating activities.
What The Role Offers
- Leads a project team of SDET engineers to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality strategy, tools& solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.
- Demonstrates an in-depth technical understanding of critical components and/or technologies by applying them to meet the organization’s business objectives
- Promotes and influences process changes that will remedy developmental inefficiencies as appropriate.
- Understands, develops and utilizes technology in the environment of complex problems or projects.
- Connects the technical dots with other programs, projects and business objectives.
- Develops and introduces new methods and techniques, potentially contributing patents and technical papers on a routine basis.
- Creates opportunities to increase the technical competence of the work group on a proactive and consistent basis.
- Communicates plans and other technical material to colleagues and business leaders.
- Demonstrates progressively increased breadth and depth of knowledge
What You Need To Succeed:
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience with strong knowledge& practical experience in software testing, testing methodologies
- Hands on experience in Docker and Kubernetes, Red Hat OS kernel, boot, security& networking
- Experience in end to end testing of system software applications on Linux platforms
- Has developed& maintained test frameworks and strong knowledge of Playwright or Selenium
- Extensive experience with multiple software quality assurance tools and processes with a focus on test automation on enterprise software
- Hands on experience in languages like Java / Javascript / React / Python / Perl / Shell
- Familiar with tools like Gitlab, security testing tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with Agile framework/SCRUM development methodologies
- Basic knowledge of Cloud delivery model.
