Job Description

We help Americans unlock wealth and step out of the corporate day-to-day grind through business acquisition. As a rapidly growing firm, we’re building a lean, high-performing remote team, and this role sits at the intersection of financial modeling, deal strategy, and execution.


You’ll work closely with the Deal Execution Manager and our buying partners, brokers, lenders, due diligence providers, and internal teams to keep transactions on track, reduce deal risk, and turn qualified opportunities into closed acquisitions. If you’re fluent in financial logic, comfortable owning transaction details, and motivated to help build deals that actually close, this role is for you.


What You’ll Do
  • Support the full deal execution process:

    Help keep transactions organized and moving from sourcing through closing with clear documentation, structured workflows, and clear communication across stakeholders.
  • Design and model deal structures:

    Build multiple structure options for each target (SBA + seller note, equity roll, earnouts) and model scenarios that balance buyer liquidity, lender approval, and seller expectations.
  • Align structures with lending and ROI requirements:

    Ensure every proposed deal meets DSCR thresholds, lender guidelines, and long-term return objectives before advancing to offer stage.
  • Manage documents and diligence checklists:

    Collect, prepare, and review key deal documents to ensure accuracy, lender alignment, and SBA compliance while tracking outstanding items and following up with stakeholders.
  • Oversee offers and LOIs:

    Support LOI drafting and revisions, review partner-submitted offers for commercial logic and structural accuracy, and ensure terms reflect the approved financial model.
  • Approve and refine deal terms before submission:

    Review LOI recordings, redline language to clarify obligations, tighten terms, and reduce execution risk prior to seller delivery.
  • Assist with closing workflows:

    Help drive deals through lender requests, purchase agreements, and final closing requirements to keep transactions on pace.
  • Analyze financials and risk exposure:

    Review historical performance, SDE trends, margins, and concentration risks to assess viability and lender readiness.
  • Identify and escalate risks early:

    Flag structural, financial, or operational concerns before offers are submitted and collaborate with the deal team to finalize lender-ready packages.
  • Maintain trackers and reporting:

    Keep deal trackers current, provide timely updates, and prepare status reports for internal stakeholders.


Ideal Experience
  • 2–5 years in M&A, private equity, corporate development, lending administration, or transaction advisory (SMB or lower-middle-market experience is a plus).
  • Strong financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets, with experience reviewing or structuring acquisition economics.
  • Familiarity with SBA lending, seller financing structures, DSCR mechanics, diligence workflows, and LOI terms.
  • Backgrounds in investment banking, Big 4, consulting, or deal advisory are highly relevant.


You Should Have
  • The ability to think in terms of structure, outcomes, and funding logic, not just spreadsheets or task lists.
  • A track record of supporting or building deals that move from offer to funding and successfully close.
  • Strong organization and documentation control skills, with the ability to manage multiple deals at once.
  • Strength in simplifying complex deal variables into clear, practical options.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a bias toward clarity, precision, and fast execution in remote deal environments.
