Role Description Role: Business Analyst/Consultant Experience: 5 to 9 Years Location: Pune / Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad / Trivandrum/ Kochi / Noida Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Business Analyst/Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate is an IIM graduate with 5+ years of post-MBA experience, bringing strong analytical, communication, and documentation expertise. This role requires the ability to engage with clients, gather and translate business requirements, and deliver impactful presentations and strategic insights. Roles And Responsibilities Client Interaction & Requirement Gathering: Engage with clients to understand their business needs. Collect and document requirements, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Translate business requirements into actionable insights and solutions. Documentation & Reporting: Develop structured and comprehensive business documents such as Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and functional specifications using MS Word. Create user stories, RFIs (Request for Information), RFQs (Request for Quotation), and RFPs (Request for Proposal). Data Analysis & Financial Modeling: Utilize MS Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP. Provide data-driven recommendations and insights for process improvement and decision-making. Presentation Development & Delivery: Design high-quality, impactful presentations using MS PowerPoint. Deliver presentations to both internal teams and clients, effectively communicating key strategies and findings. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Ensure client needs are addressed and expectations are effectively managed. Process Improvement & Strategy: Offer strategic insights to optimize processes and drive operational efficiencies. Ensure business solutions align with client goals and industry best practices. Project Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. Act as the primary point of contact for client interactions. Must-Have Skills Education: MBA from a top-tier Indian Institute of Management (IIM). Experience: 5+ years of post-MBA experience in business analysis, consulting, or related roles. Technical Proficiency: MS Word: Strong documentation skills for creating business reports and BRDs. MS Excel: Advanced skills in data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling. MS PowerPoint: Expertise in developing and delivering impactful presentations. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for effective client and stakeholder interactions. Client Management: Proven experience managing client relationships and engaging with senior stakeholders. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality assurance and project accuracy. Good-to-Have Skills Business Documentation: Experience in creating user stories, RFI, RFQ, and RFP. Industry Experience: Prior experience in IT consulting or similar fields. Certifications: Certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional) or CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional). Project Management: Hands-on experience in managing projects and leading cross-functional teams. Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with SNOW (ServiceNow) platform and modules such as ITSM (IT Service Management), HRSD (Human Resource Service Delivery), and CSM (Customer Service Management).
