Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    To lead enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis across multiple projects or business verticals. To partner with internal stakeholders for data-driven decision-making and to drive strategic alignment between financial and business goals

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Financial Planning & Budgeting: - Drive annual operating plan (AOP) and long-range plan (LRP) preparation with business teams. - Consolidate and analyze budgets across projects/business units and recommend strategic insights. - Align budgeting with CAPEX, OPEX, working capital needs, and financing requirements. Business Performance Analytics: - Analyze financial performance (P&L, cash flows, balance sheet) and provide actionable insights to management. - Perform variance analysis (Budget vs Actual), identify drivers, and track KPIs across verticals. - Develop dashboards and MIS reports for senior leadership and board-level reporting. - Lead cost optimization initiatives and scenario-based financial modeling. Strategic Business Partnering: - Collaborate with Project, Procurement, Commercial, and Operations teams to understand ground-level business realities. - Influence decisions through financial insights, market benchmarking, and risk-return evaluations. - Support bid strategy, pricing models, M&A evaluations, and project feasibility reviews Systems, Processes & Automation: - Lead implementation of financial planning tools (e.g., SAP SAC, Anaplan, Power BI). - Standardized processes for rolling forecasts, monthly MIS, and board packs. - Integrate financial and operational data for cross-functional decision-making Team Leadership & Development: - Manage a team of analysts, drive capability-building, and foster a high-performance culture. - Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all deliverables

Qualifications and Experience


    Educational Qualification: - B Com, MBA, or equivalent degree. - Bachelor’s in law or commerce will be preferable. Experiences: - 10- 15 years’ experience - 5+ years of experience in F&A experience of F&A across end-to-end project lifecycle desired - 3+ years in FP&A or equivalent business analysis role with exposure to large CAPEX projects
