About The Role
- You’ll be joining the Digital & IT CMO (D&IT CMO) team within ArcelorMittal Europe – CIO Flat Products. This department serves as the strategic IT partner for the Flat Products business processes, acting as a vital link between business stakeholders and IT service providers.
- D&IT CMO collaborates closely with business owners across central teams, sales agencies, Order Management Platforms, Supply Chain, Industrial Clusters, and Plants throughout Flat Europe. We focus on delivering scalable, efficient, and value-driven IT solutions across the following key missions:
- Steering and supporting legacy systems – ensuring performance, user support, and budget control
- Driving the evolution of legacy applications – adapting to new business needs, deploying updates, and optimizing performance
- Championing innovation and transformation – helping the business modernize and stay ahead of digital trends
What does the job entail?
As
Salesforce Technical Lead
, you will be responsible for
ensuring the quality and consistency of technical deliverables
across all Salesforce projects. You'll coach developers, review and approve code, and help structure development activities to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions that meet our evolving business needs.You’ll serve as the
technical reference point
in the Salesforce ecosystem and play a critical role in guiding the team toward scalable and sustainable architecture and development approaches
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and technical analysts.
- Apex coding, Javascript & LWC.
- Any Salesforce certifications is a must
- Validate and approve merge requests, ensuring code quality, adherence to standards, and alignment with architectural guidelines
- Take full accountability for the quality of the delivered code
- Review IT specifications, assess complexity, and assign development tasks based on developer expertise and availability
- Provide technical guidance and training to developers when new techniques or tools are introduced
- Propose and implement Salesforce development best practices and ensure consistent usage across projects
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to ensure feasibility, scalability, and maintainability of solutions
- Actively contribute to code reviews, peer programming, and knowledge sharing
- Help optimize development lifecycle through tooling, automation, and code reusability strategies
- Serve as a key technical point of contact in the Salesforce platform evolution roadmap.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Salesforce Technical Lead who can drive code quality, mentor team members, and ensure technical excellence across projects
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Equivalent professional experience combined with Salesforce certifications may also be considered
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II strongly preferred
- Additional certifications (Salesforce Architect, Admin, etc.) are a plus
- 12+ years of experience in IT development, including significant experience in Salesforce (Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce)
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Developer in multi-developer environments
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and integration patterns
- Familiarity with development lifecycle tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket, Copado, Jenkins)
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop technical talent
- Solid experience in code review, refactoring, and performance tuning
- Ability to translate business needs into technical design, and challenge IT specifications when needed
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural, multi-location environment
- Fluent in English (written and spoken);
