Job Description

The role of a DevOps Engineer at FreeCharge DBAT team. We are looking for a highly motivated DevOps engineer who is proficient in implementing and managing DevOps practices and technologies. Your primary focus will be on designing and maintaining the infrastructure, tools, and processes to support the continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of our web and mobile applications.As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the development and deployment pipelines. Your responsibilities will include automating and streamlining the build, test, and release processes, monitoring the performance and security of the applications, and identifying areas for optimization and improvement. With a keen eye for scalability and performance, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing the necessary cloud and on-premises infrastructure, such as containers and orchestration technologies. You will actively participate in code reviews and work closely with the development team to integrate DevOps best practices into the development lifecycle.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with AWS Core and Managed Services, including VPC, EC2 S3 RDS, DocumentDB, EKS (Kubernetes-Expertise Level), Cloudfront, and Elasticsearch service in a production environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on experience in Continuous Integration (CI)/ Continuous Delivery (CD) using Jenkins.
Hands-on experience with Linux and comfortable with coding or scripting in Python, Shell/Bash Scripting for deployment and management.
Experience with configuration management using Ansible and IaaC using Terraform/Cloudformation.
In-depth knowledge of scalability and reliability engineering.
Experience with EFK and Dynatrace.
Understanding of Serverless Architecture.
Experience in collaborating with team members.
Experience with managing team members.
Openness to learning new tools and technologies.
