Lead DevOps Engineer

As a Lead DevOps Engineer at LUMIQ, you will play a crucial role in leading the DevOps team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, effective stakeholder management, and executive reporting. Your responsibilities include establishing and following best practices, implementing efficient DevOps practices and designs for both internal and customer projects. This involves building and deploying Data & AI platforms, products, and their use cases. You will oversee that all DevOps engagements are completed on time with the right level of support and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate expert knowledge in Linux system & networking internals, and Container runtimes. - Utilize significant experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure. - Hands-on experience with IAC (Infra as Code) tools like Terraform. - Solid understanding of running applications in container environments, dockerizing applications, and orchestration using Kubernetes, helm, and service mesh deployments. - Work with open-source tooling & configurations including nginx, httpd, ansible or equivalent. - Implement CI/CD pipelines on the cloud, and perform server-side scripting using bash, python or equivalent. - Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and documentation skills. - Showcase strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Collaborate effectively within a team, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing requirements. - Understand end-to-end business requirements, propose feasible solutions, and implement error-free products for clients. - Implement DevOps best practices in systems & architectural design, and mentor and coach fellow engineers. Qualifications: - 6+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, platform, or SRE engineering roles. - Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and infra engineering best practices. - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent experience. - Proven experience in leading and managing teams of DevOps engineers in previous roles.
