Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and automate Power BI dashboards

    using data from Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines) to track engineering KPIs like velocity, lead time, and DORA metrics.

  • Ensure ADO data quality

    by maintaining queries, workflows, and running regular audits to improve consistency across teams.

  • Drive Agile operational cadence

    by managing sprint/release calendars, backlog health reviews, and quarterly planning processes.

  • Deliver executive reporting

    through weekly/monthly readouts and ad-hoc analysis, translating complex data into actionable insights.

  • Support tooling administration

    for ADO and Power BI, including license management and light vendor coordination.

  • Identify process bottlenecks

    through data analysis and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Coordinate compliance activities

    such as audit readiness, change logs, and security reporting tied to software releases.


Skills Required:

  • Azure DevOps (ADO):

    Advanced proficiency in Boards, Queries, Repos, Pipelines, and Analytics.

  • Power BI:

    Strong skills in data modeling, Power Query, DAX, and dashboard automation.

  • Agile Methodologies:

    Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe practices; experience with sprint planning and release management.

  • Dashboarding & Reporting:

    Ability to design executive-level dashboards and scorecards; deliver clear data-driven insights.

  • Data Analysis:

    Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP), SQL for joins/aggregations, and API integration (ADO REST).

  • Operational Excellence:

    Experience in managing cadence activities like backlog reviews, planning cycles, and compliance tracking.

  • Communication:

    Strong storytelling with data; capable of creating concise executive summaries and documentation.

  • Mindset:

    Ownership-driven, analytical, and solution-oriented with a “figure it out” attitude.
