Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Admissions Counselor, based in Hyderabad. The Lead Admissions Counselor will oversee the admissions process, guide prospective students through enrollment, and handle inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. The role involves building relationships with potential students, conducting outreach, and maintaining a strong understanding of the institute's educational offerings.


Key Responsibilities

1. Admissions Management

  • Supervise and mentor a team of admissions counselors.
  • Oversee the entire admissions process from lead generation to enrollment.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with leads through calls, emails, and online platforms.
  • Maintain and optimize CRM systems for lead tracking and conversions.


2. Counseling & Conversion

  • Conduct in-depth counseling sessions to help students understand course offerings, eligibility, and career outcomes.
  • Evaluate student profiles and guide them through the admission requirements.
  • Track and analyze conversion rates to identify areas for improvement.


3. Strategy & Leadership

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align admission efforts with campaigns and events.
  • Plan and execute admission drives, webinars, and open-house sessions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.


4. Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Prepare and present regular reports on lead status, counselor performance, and conversion metrics.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize the admissions funnel.


5. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with academic and operations teams for a seamless student onboarding process.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and institutional partners.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Business, Education, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in student counseling, admissions, or sales (education industry preferred).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding admission/enrollment targets.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Known Languages Hindi, Telugu, and English
