Job Description

You will be responsible for managing student placements and staff recruitment in this role. Your main tasks will involve collaborating with game companies to understand their recruitment needs and align students with suitable opportunities. You will need to develop and maintain strong relationships with game companies to secure placement opportunities for students. Actively seeking new companies and job openings to expand placement options will also be crucial. Additionally, you will be facilitating internships and full-time job opportunities for students through organizing campus recruitment drives. It will be your responsibility to educate and assist students in crafting effective resumes and preparing for interviews. Working closely with the reporting manager, you will understand hiring requirements and identify suitable candidates. Screening resumes, conducting interviews, and ensuring the timely hiring of the best candidates will also fall under your purview. Negotiating salary packages with game companies for student placements to ensure fair compensation for students will be part of your role. You will also discuss employment terms and conditions with candidates for staff recruitment, ensuring alignment with the organization's interests. Overseeing the complete recruitment process for hiring faculty and staff within the college will be another essential aspect of your job. Accuracy in keeping records of student placements, company interactions, and recruitment efforts will be necessary for this position. You should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of recruitment experience, preferably in an educational institution or recruitment agency. A proven track record of successful recruitment and placement is required. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruitment software, are also necessary. Preferred qualifications include experience working in an educational institution and familiarity with the game development industry and its recruitment trends.
