Job Requirements

The Role The Training Lead – Taneira will spearhead the Learning & Development (L&D) function across the brand’s retail, franchise, e-commerce, and corporate teams, driving people capability as a lever for growth, customer delight, and business differentiation.

The role holder will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing brand-aligned training strategies that enhance product knowledge, styling-led selling, and storytelling capability.
  • Translating business goals into structured capability frameworks for all roles, from stylists and store managers to regional and head-office teams.
  • Building a culture of learning and craftsmanship appreciation, enabling teams to elevate the customer experience through empathy, aesthetics, and expertise.
  • Leading a team of retail trainers (on-roll and off-roll), defining their capacity and capability roadmaps, and coaching them for consistent delivery excellence.
  • Leveraging digital learning, AI, and LXPs (Learning Experience Platforms) to deliver microlearning, gamified assessments, and performance-linked learning.
  • Partnering with the Sales, Merchandising, VM, and Marketing teams to align learning interventions with campaigns, collections, and brand storytelling.
  • Measuring the impact of learning through business KPIs (Conversion %, AUPT, Repeat Purchase, NPS, Attrition) and refining programs based on insights.
  • Collaborating with HR and Business Leaders to build leadership pipelines and succession readiness within the retail ecosystem.
  • Curating and delivering specialized learning journeys (e.g., Wedding Expert, Festive Storytelling, Store Manager Development, and CX Excellence).
  • Managing vendor partnerships and training budgets while ensuring quality, innovation, and scalability in training solutions. Sensitivity: Internal Key Responsibility Areas
  • Partner with Business Heads, Business Teams, and Store Managers to identify business priorities and corresponding learning needs.
  • Design and deliver high-impact content across product, process, styling, and behavioral domains.
  • Build a digital-first learning culture through mobile, bite-sized, and gamified learning interventions on LMS/LXP platforms.
  • Institutionalize “Learning Champions” across stores to sustain on-the-job learning and foster peer-led knowledge sharing.
  • Establish structured onboarding frameworks for new hires to accelerate readiness and reduce early attrition.
  • Conduct training effectiveness studies and publish quarterly L&D impact dashboards for stakeholders.

• Coach and develop the training team, fostering facilitation excellence and data-driven program management. • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration with Merchandising, VM, Design, and Marketing teams to integrate training with brand campaigns.

  • Drive leadership and people-skills programs to enhance managerial effectiveness and culture alignment.
  • Partner with HR to embed CREST behaviors (Coach, Recognize, Empathize, Set goals, Transparency) and Titan Values in the learning ecosystem. Role Dimensions
  • Start as a people manager, leading a team of 4 trainers and Learning Champions across regions.
  • Responsible for an annual training calendar covering 100+ stores (company-owned and franchisee).
  • Expected to travel extensively to stores, regional offices, and Taneira studios to observe, coach, and support business growth.

Work Experience

Education and Experience

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, HR, Psychology, or related fields.
  • 8–15 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in Premium Retail, Fashion, or Lifestyle sectors.
  • Proven track record in designing and scaling retail learning programs, preferably for fashion, beauty, or luxury categories.
  • Exposure to digital learning tools, analytics, and AI-based training solutions will be an added advantage.
