Lead Software Engineer Backend (Java | Spring Boot | Microservices | AWS) Location: Hyderabad, India | Division: Titan Smart Labs, Titan Company Limited. About the Role As a Lead Software Engineer (Backend) , you will be at the forefront of developing scalable and distributed systems that power our smartwatch ecosystem. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams Product Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Science, and Operations to build innovative and reliable backend services. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and deployment of highly scalable distributed services. Collaborate with product engineering teams and stakeholders across Titan Smart Labs. Drive operational excellence through automation, monitoring, and robust architectural practices. What We’re Looking For Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in backend development. Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE backend development. Proficient in Spring MVC , Spring Boot , and JPA frameworks. Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs . Strong experience with Microservices architecture and related best practices. Good understanding and exposure to design patterns is preferred. Working knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL). Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. Familiarity with application servers like WebLogic and JBoss . Strong understanding and working experience with Version Control Systems (e.g., GitHub). Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems is a valuable addition. Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools like Jira and Confluence . Experience with build tools like Maven and working in Unix/Linux environments. Proven track record of delivering high-quality, production-grade backend systems.
