Job Title: Key Account Manager – Logistics (Individual Contributor Role) Location: Gurgaon Department: Key Accounts / Customer Success Reporting To: Regional Head – Key Accounts Experience: 1-2 Years (in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation preferred) About the Role We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Key Account Manager (KAM) who will be the single point of contact for handling client relationships in an individual contributor capacity. The KAM will be responsible for resolving client complaints, addressing queries and operational concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction via phone, email, and other communication channels. Additionally, the KAM will play a critical role in growing wallet share from existing clients through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary contact for assigned key clients; manage all inbound communication related to service, queries, escalations, and complaints. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. Understand client requirements thoroughly and coordinate with internal departments for swift resolution. Ensure regular follow-ups and prompt closure of issues raised. Operational Support & Issue Resolution Proactively monitor shipments, operations, and service metrics to anticipate and address potential issues. Liaise with operations, billing, and support teams to ensure smooth execution of client requirements. Maintain detailed records of all client communications, issues, and resolutions. Account Growth & Wallet Share Expansion Identify and explore opportunities to increase the scope of business with existing clients. Work closely with the sales and pricing teams to pitch new lanes, services, or value-added solutions. Track client volumes and trends to recommend initiatives that support revenue growth. Reporting & Analysis Prepare and present periodic reports on account health, issue resolution status, and revenue performance. Analyze client behavior and shipment data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate 1-2 years of experience in key account management, customer success, or client servicing in logistics or related industries. Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
