Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team at DoubleTree Suites By Hilton. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a bakery setting.

Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparing high-quality menus for special events and functions.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff activities to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of bakery products, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage kitchen staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
