We are looking for a Junior Purchase Executive to support our procurement operations, ensuring timely sourcing and delivery of materials and components required for production and site execution.

Role Overview

The Junior Purchase Executive will assist in material procurement, vendor coordination, quotation comparison, and inventory follow-up. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with materials commonly used in interiors and furniture manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and sourcing materials such as hardware, laminates, veneers, metal, stone, glass, upholstery, lighting, and other interior components.
• Obtain quotations from multiple vendors, prepare comparison sheets, and negotiate for best pricing and delivery terms.
• Prepare purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely follow-up for material dispatch and delivery.
• Coordinate with the design, production, and site teams to understand material requirements and urgency.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor database, and material tracking reports.
• Inspect incoming materials for quality, quantity, and compliance with specifications.
• Support senior purchase team members in developing and maintaining vendor relationships.
• Ensure timely documentation and coordination for billing, GRN (Goods Receipt Note), and payment follow-up.
• Collaborate with the stores and accounts departments for smooth inward and payment processes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Production / Interior Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement or purchase within the interior, furniture, or construction industry (freshers with internships can also apply).
• Good understanding of raw materials, finishes, and fittings used in high-end interior projects.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems (ERPNext preferred).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under tight timelines.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
