Job Description WHAT YOU’LL DO The Junior Project Manager for Tech will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact projects involving next-generation technologies. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, managing resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. This role demands a strong blend of technical acumen and project management expertise to guide complex initiatives from inception through to successful completion. In the role you are responsible for making things happen - by making the complex easier and bringing people together to create success. You focus on value creation and team empowerment to accelerate on the journey towards common strategic goals and exceptional customer/business results. You create joint plans, drive excellent execution and follow-up, always in tight collaboration with key stakeholders and contributors. As a Junior Project you are typically leading a workstream in a project. You are familiar with the Project Management proficiency. You participate in the Project/Program Management Community. Key Responsibilities Planning & definition: Scope a defined workstream within a project and set objectives. Create timeline for the workstream. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Define project/program objectives, scope, and deliverables in alignment with the organization’s goals. Develop detailed project/program roadmaps, timelines, and resource plans. Identify dependencies, risks, and issues, and develop mitigation strategies. Stakeholder & change management: Act as the primary point of contact between senior leadership, sponsors, and project teams. Identify relevant stakeholders and establish a trustworthy relationship. Communicate project/program status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders through regular reporting. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including developers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership, to ensure smooth communication and execution. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with program goals. Execution: Oversee multiple workstreams/projects under the project/program, ensuring each aligns with the overall objectives. Drive adoption of agile methodologies and best practices for project execution, continuously improving project delivery processes. Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies in collaboration with engineering teams. Ensure alignment with compliance, security, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Work closely with workstream leads/project leads to ensure successful execution and delivery. Assess, communicate and manage changes that may occur. Functional competence: Overall knowledge of fashion retail business process and business models. Who You Are We are looking for people with… A bachelor’s or preferable a master's degree in technology or a related field or equivalent work experience. Ideally 4-6 years of experience in project management, preferably in the fast fashion, consumer retail industry. Familiarity with project and program management methodologies, dual delivery models (eg waterfall, agile) as well as relevant certifications Ability to communicate in an engaging and effective way. Solid understanding of technologies such as AI, machine learning, cloud computing, blockchain, IoT, and big data. Strong experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and other project management frameworks. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello, MS Project). Proven ability to manage large-scale projects with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business value. Ability to manage multiple priorities, working effectively under pressure and tight deadlines Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and software development life cycles. PMP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certification is a plus. A passion for emerging technologies and their potential to revolutionize industries. Identify and manage project risks, proactively addressing potential obstacles and ensuring timely issue resolution. Lead technical execution of projects, ensuring that solutions meet the necessary standards for scalability, security, and performance. Monitor and track project performance using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project), providing regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
