Job Purpose

  • To be part of instrument management team in instrument maintenance
Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance co-ordination with external vendor for instruments which are in contract as per planner and submission of check lists to end user.
  • Attending and resolving breakdown of instruments in co-ordination with external vendor which are in contract.
  • Initiating purchase requisition for spare parts, consumables and service required for minimizing downtime of the instruments.
  • Responsible for maintaining and managing of instrument spare parts and consumables.
  • Renewal of maintenance contracts of instruments with the vendors as per the schedule.
  • Adhere to good documentation practices while recording logs books, PM reports, etc.
  • Play role of document coordinator/author for EDMS and Initiator for EQMS in GMP area.
  • PM tracking as per planner.
  • Attending and solving day to day instruments problems (LCMSMS, HPLC, UPLC, GC, pH Meter and other instruments).
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance in-house for instruments as per planner.
  • Maintaining call and spares consumption details on monthly basis.
  • Management of instruments.
  • Coordinate with vendors for installation and maintenance.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts.

Educational Qualification

  • BE/ BTECH / MSC

Technical/functional Skills

  • Sound knowledge in Analytical Instruments.
  • Computer skills
  • Customer management.

Experience

  • 8-10 years in analytical instrumentation management.

Behavioral Skills

  • Teamwork.
  • Communication skill.
  • Customer relationship.
