Junior HR Generalist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role will support daily HR operations with a focus on attendance management, payroll processing, and recruitment coordination. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of HR experience and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support

• Assist in sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews for candidates.
• Coordinate with hiring managers for interview feedback and candidate communication.
• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Attendance and Leave Management

• Monitor daily employee attendance and leave records.
• Ensure accurate data entry in HRIS for time-off requests, absenteeism, and holidays.
• Generate monthly attendance reports for payroll processing.

Payroll Assistance

• Support the preparation and verification of monthly payroll data.
• Liaise with the finance department for timely salary disbursements.
• Address employee queries related to salary, deductions, and reimbursements.

Employee Records & HRIS

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies.

HR Operations & Compliance

• Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Ensure documentation and processes adhere to legal and organizational requirements.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and internal HR communications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
• Basic knowledge of attendance systems, payroll processes, and recruitment cycles.
• Familiarity with HRIS and MS Office (Excel proficiency is a plus).
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
