Junior Cost Accountant

Hocco is Hiring Position- Junior Cost Accountant Location- Bavla -Gujarat Ahmedabad The Junior Cost Accountant will support the finance team in analyzing cost data, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate cost records. The role involves assisting in budgeting, variance analysis, and cost control initiatives to ensure effective financial management. Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparation and maintenance of cost records, ledgers, and statements. Support cost analysis and reporting for production, inventory, and overheads. Prepare cost sheets and assist in standard costing activities. Help in budget preparation and variance analysis against actual performance. Monitor and report material, labor, and overhead costs. Assist in monthly/quarterly closing activities related to costing. Support audit requirements by providing relevant cost-related data. Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams for accurate cost allocation. Maintain compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred). 3–5 years of experience in costing, accounting, or finance Understanding of cost accounting principles, standard costing, and variance analysis. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of ERP/Tally /SAP is an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented and able to work under deadlines.
