Junior Associate

You will be working as a Junior Associate Lawyer at PJ Law, a boutique corporate law firm in Ernakulam. Your role will involve handling transaction-based corporate work, conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, providing legal advisory support, and participating in client meetings and dispute resolution proceedings. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in handling transaction-based work in corporate and commercial law. - Conduct comprehensive legal research and due diligence. - Draft, review, and vet legal documents, contracts, and opinions. - Provide legal advice on financial restructuring, corporate insolvency, and regulatory compliance. - Participate in client meetings and manage correspondence with clients and regulatory authorities. - Support senior counsels in arbitration and dispute resolution matters. Qualifications: - Strong legal research and analytical skills. - Proficiency in drafting and reviewing corporate and transactional documents. - Foundational knowledge in Corporate Insolvency, Financial Restructuring, FinTech, and Contract Law. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities. Educational Qualification: LL.B. / CS / CA. Prior experience in dispute resolution or commercial transactions will be considered an advantage.
