Role Overview

As a Junior/Associate Consultant, you will support client engagements by conducting research, analyzing ESG data, assisting in report preparation, and contributing to the design and implementation of sustainability strategies. This is an entry-level role offering exposure to diverse industries, global ESG frameworks, and hands-on consulting experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior consultants in delivering ESG, sustainability, and climate-related projects.
• Conduct desktop research on ESG regulations, frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, BRSR), and industry benchmarks.
• Assist in data collection, validation, and analysis for ESG performance metrics and greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories.
• Contribute to drafting sustainability/ESG reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
• Track developments in ESG policies, standards, and rating agencies (e.g., Eco Vadis, SBTi).
• Coordinate with clients to gather information and support project execution.
• Participate in knowledge-building initiatives and internal capability development.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Economics, Engineering, Management, or related fields.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or projects in ESG/sustainability preferred).
• Strong analytical and research skills with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good understanding of ESG concepts, sustainability reporting frameworks, and climate change issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Pro-activeness, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

• Exposure to ESG ratings, carbon accounting tools, or sustainability disclosure platforms.
• Certifications or training in ESG, GHG accounting, or sustainability reporting (e.g., GRI, ISO, Eco Vadis, CDP) will be an advantage.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) desirable.
