Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to manage the financial transactions and reporting for our Factory Unit-1 located in Kerala GIDC Estate, Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing insightful financial information to support business decisions.

Job Location: Plot No. 205+206, Kerala GIDC Estate, Kerala, Bavla, Ahmedabad (Gujarat)- 382220.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Process and record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor and analyze variances between actual and budgeted results.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in periodic stocktaking.
• Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate salary disbursements.
• Prepare and submit relevant financial reports to management.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience as an Accountant, preferably within a manufacturing or factory environment.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience using ZipERP software.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with relevant tax laws and regulations in India.
