Job Description

Green Protein is seeking a detail-driven and proactive Junior accountant with experience in ecommerce operations to join our team immediately . As a fast-growing D2C plant-based nutrition brand, this role is essential to ensure accurate financial tracking, streamline processes across platforms like Shopify and Amazon, and support the brand’s financial health as we scale. Key Responsibilities: Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping. Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and reconciliations. Vendor co-ordination regarding bills and GST filing. Assist in GST, TDS, and other tax calculations and filings. Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements. Revenue, profits, cost, profit % for the projects. Oversee payroll management and track monthly reimbursements and employee expenses. Manage petty cash transactions and office expenses. Coordinate with banks for payments, reconciliations, and other transactions. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Support in internal audits and financial documentation. Requirements: Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter Experience: 2-3 year in accounting, preferably in the D2C space. Software Knowledge: Tally, MyBillBook, MS Excel, and other accounting tools. Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and financial reporting. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
