We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant with 2-3 years of experience to join our growing finance team. This role offers hands-on experience in accounting practices within the health and wellness industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Support: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Invoice Processing: Manage and process invoices, ensuring timely payments and maintaining a record of all transactions.
• Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting software, ensuring the accuracy of all transactions.
• Reconciliation: Assist with monthly and year-end reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Tax and Compliance: Support in preparing and filing tax-related documents and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Reporting: Prepare financial reports and assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
• Expense Tracking: Monitor and record business expenses, ensuring all transactions are within budget and properly documented.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of accounting experience (preferably in retail, wellness or FMCG industry).
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of GST, tax filing, and compliance regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
